This Vendor Privacy & Data Protection Policy explains how مُوَرِّد collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects data relating to vendors, sellers, suppliers, merchants, and their representatives who apply to join or use the platform.
1. Scope
This policy applies to:
- vendors and suppliers applying to join مُوَرِّد;
- approved vendors and sellers using the platform;
- vendor representatives, employees, agents, and authorized users;
- vendor-related business data and personal data submitted through the platform.
2. Data We Collect
We may collect and process:
- business name, trade name, and legal identity details;
- commercial registration, tax details, license information, and supporting documents;
- names and contact details of owners, managers, representatives, and authorized users;
- banking or beneficiary details where required;
- address, city, service regions, and operational information;
- product and service listings, descriptions, images, categories, and pricing;
- communications, complaints, support records, and dispute history;
- login records, device/browser information, IP address, activity logs, and security logs.
3. Why We Collect and Use Vendor Data
We use vendor data to:
- review and verify applications;
- create, manage, suspend, or terminate vendor accounts;
- display stores, vendor profiles, products, and services;
- manage inquiries, leads, communications, and complaints;
- maintain platform security and detect abuse or fraud;
- comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations;
- improve the platform and vendor onboarding process.
4. Data Sharing
We may share vendor data where reasonably necessary with:
- hosting, cloud, communications, and technical service providers;
- cybersecurity, analytics, and support providers;
- legal, accounting, and professional advisors;
- regulators, courts, authorities, or law enforcement where required;
- service providers involved in operating the platform;
- customers, but only to the extent the vendor intentionally publishes business information on the platform or where the information is required for the relevant inquiry or transaction.
We do not sell vendor personal data as a standalone asset.
5. Public Vendor Information
The vendor understands and agrees that certain business information may appear publicly on the platform, including:
- store name;
- business description;
- city or service area;
- product and service listings;
- prices, images, delivery notes, and business contact methods where enabled;
- public policies uploaded by the vendor.
The vendor is responsible for ensuring that no unnecessary personal data is included in public content.
6. Vendor Obligations Toward Customer Data
If a vendor receives customer data through مُوَرِّد, the vendor must:
- use it only for the relevant request, inquiry, order, delivery, support, or lawful follow-up;
- not sell, rent, reuse, scrape, extract, or build independent databases from it;
- not send unrelated marketing or spam using that data;
- not disclose it to third parties unless necessary for lawful fulfillment or required by law;
- implement reasonable security and confidentiality controls.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative measures to protect vendor data from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, disclosure, or alteration. However, no system is completely risk-free, and vendors remain responsible for securing their own accounts, devices, and communications.
8. Security Incidents
If a vendor becomes aware of any breach, leak, unauthorized access, misuse, or incident affecting platform-related data, the vendor must notify مُوَرِّد immediately and cooperate fully in investigation, containment, and remediation.
9. Retention
We retain vendor data only for as long as reasonably necessary for platform operations, compliance, dispute handling, rights protection, or as otherwise required by applicable law.
10. Vendor Rights
Subject to applicable law and lawful exceptions, vendors may request:
- access to their personal data;
- correction or updating of inaccurate data;
- deletion where legally applicable;
- withdrawal of consent where consent is the basis of processing;
- clarification of how their data is used.

11. Cross-Border Processing
Some service providers or technical systems may process or host data outside Saudi Arabia. Where this occurs, مُوَرِّد will seek to ensure that such processing is handled with appropriate safeguards and only to the extent reasonably necessary for operating the platform.

Vendor Policy / Seller Terms

These Vendor Terms govern the participation of vendors, sellers, and suppliers on مُوَرِّد.
1. Platform Role
مُوَرِّد is currently a platform for vendor visibility, listing, and customer-vendor connection. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, مُوَرِّد is not the contracting seller for third-party vendor products or services, is not the fulfillment party, and is not the payment processor for vendor transactions.
2. Vendor Responsibility
Each vendor is solely responsible for:
- the legality of its business and activity;
- the accuracy of product and service descriptions;
- the prices, offers, specifications, and statements it publishes;
- stock availability and delivery capability;
- invoices, tax treatment, and regulatory compliance;
- warranties, after-sales support, returns, refunds, and complaints relating to its own products or services;
- communications with customers once the request is sent to the vendor;
- any agreement formed directly between the vendor and the customer.
3. Vendor Representations
The vendor represents and warrants that:
- it is legally authorized to conduct its business;
- all information submitted to مُوَرِّد is true, current, and complete;
- it has the right to publish and sell the listed products or services;
- it will comply with all applicable Saudi laws and regulations;
- it will not use the platform for misleading, deceptive, abusive, or unlawful activity.
4. Direct Vendor Contact Model
Where the platform sends a request, inquiry, or order lead to the vendor:
- that submission does not automatically mean a transaction has been finalized;
- the vendor must review the request and contact the customer directly where necessary;
- the vendor is responsible for confirming availability, pricing, delivery scope, and final order details;
- the vendor remains fully responsible for the outcome of any direct sale or arrangement.
5. Vendor Policies
Each vendor must maintain clear and lawful policies where applicable, including:
- pricing and offer terms;
- shipping or delivery conditions;
- return and refund terms;
- warranty or after-sales terms;
- complaint handling procedures.
If the vendor publishes its own policy, that policy applies to the vendor’s transaction, provided it does not conflict with applicable law or the platform’s mandatory rules.
6. Prohibited Conduct
The vendor must not:
- list prohibited, illegal, counterfeit, deceptive, or infringing products;
- publish false pricing, false availability, or false guarantees;
- impersonate another person or business;
- misuse customer data;
- upload harmful code, spam, abusive content, or misleading advertising;
- take any action that harms the platform, its users, or its reputation.
7. Platform Rights
مُوَرِّد may, at its sole discretion:
- request documents or clarifications;
- edit, reject, suspend, hide, or remove listings;
- suspend or terminate vendor access;
- investigate complaints and request cooperation;
- report unlawful content or conduct to relevant authorities;
- change platform rules, onboarding criteria, or listing standards.
8. No Guarantee
مُوَرِّد does not guarantee:
- sales volume;
- lead quality;
- vendor performance;
- customer conversion;
- uninterrupted access;
- continuous listing visibility.
9. Indemnity
The vendor agrees to indemnify and hold مُوَرِّد harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, penalties, and costs arising from:
- the vendor’s products, services, content, or communications;
- violation of law;
- misuse of customer data;
- breach of these terms;
- customer complaints caused by the vendor’s acts or omissions.
10. Suspension and Termination
مُوَرِّد may suspend or terminate a vendor account at any time where it reasonably believes the vendor has violated these terms, created legal or reputational risk, or failed to cooperate in a complaint or compliance matter.
Prohibited Products & Restricted Conduct Policy

Vendors may not list, promote, or offer through مُوَرِّد any product or service that is unlawful, regulated without proper authorization, deceptive, dangerous, infringing, or otherwise inconsistent with the platform’s rules.
This includes, without limitation:
- counterfeit goods;
- stolen goods;
- unlawful medical claims or unlicensed regulated products;
- infringing intellectual property content;
- fraudulent financial offers;
- deceptive service claims;
- prohibited weapons or illegal goods;
- content or listings that violate public order or applicable law.
مُوَرِّد reserves the right to remove any listing, request proof of legality, suspend access, or refer matters to the relevant authorities where required.
Vendor Complaints & Dispute Handling Policy

If a vendor has a complaint relating to:
- account status;
- listing removal;
- lead routing;
- access issues;
- vendor verification;
- privacy or data use;
- other platform-related actions,

The complaint should include:
- vendor name;
- account or store name;
- contact details;
- issue description;
- supporting documents or screenshots where available.
2. Complaints Against Vendors
If a customer or third party submits a complaint against a vendor, مُوَرِّد may:
- request information from the vendor;
- temporarily hide listings;
- restrict or suspend the vendor account;
- request corrective action;
- maintain complaint records for compliance and operational purposes.
3. Cooperation
Vendors must cooperate fully and promptly in any complaint review, investigation, or compliance request.
4. Platform Decision
مُوَرِّد may take reasonable action to protect users, the platform, and legal compliance. Platform decisions on listing moderation, vendor access, and risk management may be made at Muwerid’s discretion, subject to applicable law.

2. Acceptance of These Terms
By applying, registering, creating a vendor account, listing any product or service, uploading any content, receiving customer inquiries, or otherwise using مُوَرِّد as a vendor, seller, or supplier, you directly confirm that you have read, understood, accepted, and agreed to be legally bound by this Vendor Policies & Agreement, including all sections contained on this page.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must not register as a vendor or use the platform in any vendor-related capacity.
مُوَرِّد may update or amend this page from time to time. Your continued use of the platform after any update means that you accept the updated version.
3. Platform Role
مُوَرِّد is currently a platform for:
- vendor visibility;
- business exposure;
- product and service listings;
- inquiry collection;
- customer-vendor connection.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise by مُوَرِّد in writing:
- مُوَرِّد is not the contracting seller for third-party vendor products or services;
- مُوَرِّد is not the party responsible for direct vendor fulfillment;
- مُوَرِّد is not currently processing vendor payments on behalf of vendors;
- مُوَرِّد does not guarantee that a customer request equals a completed sale or a confirmed order.
Any direct sale, agreement, arrangement, payment, delivery, warranty, or after-sales responsibility between the vendor and the customer remains the vendor’s sole responsibility unless otherwise expressly stated.
4. Direct Vendor Contact Model
Where a customer submits a request, inquiry, lead, order interest, or contact request through the platform:
- the request may be forwarded directly to the vendor;
- this does not automatically mean the purchase has been completed, verified, or finalized;
- the vendor must review the request and contact the customer directly where necessary;
- the vendor is responsible for confirming availability, pricing, delivery scope, service terms, and final order details;
- the vendor is fully responsible for proceeding with or declining the order.
The vendor acknowledges that any customer request received through مُوَرِّد is subject to vendor review, vendor acceptance, product availability, and vendor operational capability.
5. Vendor Eligibility and Registration
To join مُوَرِّد as a vendor, the applicant must:
- be legally authorized to conduct business;
- provide true, accurate, and current information;
- provide any documents requested by the platform for review or verification;
- maintain lawful business activity in accordance with applicable Saudi laws and regulations;
- ensure that all products, services, and listings comply with applicable law.
مُوَرِّد reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, request additional information, or remove any vendor application or account at its sole discretion.
6. Vendor Responsibilities
Each vendor is solely responsible for:
- the legality of its business and commercial activity;
- the accuracy of all business information submitted to the platform;
- the legality, accuracy, and truthfulness of all product and service listings;
- product specifications, descriptions, pricing, availability, and images;
- customer communication after the lead or request is sent to the vendor;
- stock, logistics, delivery capability, and operational readiness;
- invoices, taxes, and compliance obligations related to its own transactions;
- returns, refunds, exchanges, warranties, complaints, and after-sales support for its own products or services;
- all representations, promises, and commitments made to customers.
The vendor must maintain professional conduct and must not use the platform in a misleading, abusive, unlawful, or harmful way.
7. Vendor Privacy & Data Protection
7.1 Scope
This section explains how مُوَرِّد collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects vendor-related data.
7.2 Data We May Collect
We may collect and process:
- business name, trade name, and business identity details;
- commercial registration, tax details, license data, and supporting documents;
- names and contact details of owners, managers, representatives, and authorized users;
- banking or beneficiary details where required;
- city, address, service regions, and business information;
- products, services, prices, categories, descriptions, and images;
- communications, complaints, support history, and dispute records;
- login activity, device/browser information, IP address, and security logs.

10. Prohibited Products and Conduct
Vendors may not list, promote, advertise, or offer through مُوَرِّد any product or service that is:
- illegal;
- counterfeit;
- stolen;
- deceptive or fraudulent;
- infringing on intellectual property rights;
- dangerous in violation of law;
- regulated without proper authorization;
- misleading in price, claims, quality, source, or availability;
- inconsistent with public order or applicable law.
The vendor must not:
- impersonate another person or business;
- publish false information or fake guarantees;
- misuse customer data;
- upload harmful code, spam, abusive content, or manipulative advertising;
- take any action that harms the platform, its users, or its reputation.
مُوَرِّد reserves the right to remove any listing, request proof of legality, suspend access, reject content, or refer matters to relevant authorities where required.
11. Complaints and Dispute Handling
11.1 Vendor Complaints
If a vendor has a complaint relating to:
- account status;
- listing removal;
- access issues;
- inquiry routing;
- privacy or data use;
- verification issues;
- platform actions;

The complaint should include:
- vendor name;
- store or account name;
- contact details;
- a clear description of the issue;
- supporting documents or screenshots where available.
11.2 Complaints Against Vendors
If a customer or third party submits a complaint against a vendor, مُوَرِّد may:
- request information from the vendor;
- temporarily hide listings;
- restrict or suspend the account;
- request corrective action;
- retain records of the complaint for operational, legal, or compliance purposes.
11.3 Cooperation
Vendors must cooperate fully and promptly in any complaint review, investigation, or compliance request.
11.4 Platform Decision
مُوَرِّد may take reasonable action to protect users, the platform, and legal compliance. Decisions regarding content moderation, listing visibility, account access, risk handling, or complaint management may be made by مُوَرِّد at its discretion, subject to applicable law.
12. Platform Rights
مُوَرِّد may, at any time and at its sole discretion:
- request documents, clarifications, or proof;
- edit, reject, suspend, or remove listings;
- suspend or terminate vendor access;
- investigate complaints and request cooperation;
- reject or delay activation of a vendor account;
- modify platform requirements, onboarding criteria, or listing standards;
- take any action reasonably necessary to protect the platform, its users, or legal compliance.
13. No Guarantee
مُوَرِّد does not guarantee:
- sales volume;
- customer conversion;
- lead quality;
- vendor performance outcomes;
- uninterrupted access;
- permanent listing visibility;
- business growth or profitability.
The platform is provided as a business tool and exposure channel, not as a guarantee of commercial results.
14. Indemnity
The vendor agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold مُوَرِّد, its owners, operators, employees, representatives, and affiliates harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, penalties, fines, costs, or expenses arising from or related to:
- the vendor’s products, services, listings, or communications;
- violation of law or regulation by the vendor;
- misuse of customer data;
- false, misleading, or unlawful content;
- customer disputes caused by the vendor’s acts or omissions;
- breach of this Vendor Policies & Agreement.
15. Limitation of Platform Responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- مُوَرِّد is not responsible for the vendor’s internal business practices, compliance, customer communications, or operational failures;
- مُوَرِّد does not guarantee the accuracy, legality, or quality of vendor products or services;
- مُوَرِّد is not liable for any direct transaction, arrangement, payment, shipment, or dispute between the vendor and the customer unless expressly stated otherwise;
- the vendor remains solely responsible for its own activities, data handling, sales, and legal compliance.
Nothing in this section excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
16. Suspension and Termination
مُوَرِّد may suspend, restrict, or terminate a vendor account at any time where it reasonably believes that the vendor:
- violated this page or any platform rule;
- submitted false or misleading information;
- created legal, security, reputational, or operational risk;
- failed to cooperate in a complaint or compliance matter;
- engaged in unlawful or non-compliant conduct.
Suspension or termination does not remove any obligations that survive by nature, including confidentiality, indemnity, cooperation, data protection, and liability for past conduct.
17. Governing Law and Language
This Vendor Policies & Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This page may be provided in Arabic and English. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict, the Arabic version shall prevail, unless otherwise expressly stated by مُوَرِّد.
